Faint machine sketches on 97v; folio 98r left blank
Leadpoint mill-mechanism and pivot studies on the verso; the facing recto noted blank
The verso leaf (97v) carries faint leadpoint machine studies: a large, lightly drawn assembly of frames and shafts across the top, a boxed device with a curved lever at mid-page, and firmer pen studies of standing pivots and a meshing pair of toothed wheels toward the foot. The e-Leo transcription records only that the facing recto, folio 98r, is left blank ("In bianco"). Further untranscribed annotations accompany the drawings on 97v and are not included in the bundle.

Faint mill or clock mechanism with pivot and gear studies
The upper half of the leaf holds a large, lightly sketched machine of frames and shafts, with a boxed lever device below it. Toward the foot are firmer pen studies of upright pivots and a meshing pair of toothed wheels. The material continues the notebook's running study of machine elements and their supports.
Facing recto left blank
The transcription notes that folio 98r, the right-hand page of the opening, bears no writing. It is recorded simply as blank.
