Isolated parts of a toothed-lever mechanism, a mould for casting shot, and columns of figures
The upper half of the sheet isolates the single parts of the 'geared lever' worked out on the facing folio: a pinion, a T-shaped rack, and a screw with a crank. A boxed detail near the centre is captioned as a mould for making the balls (shot) of hand-guns, and a marginal note gives a recipe for smothering charcoal with cloth-shearing dust and aqua vitae so the fire does not freeze. The lower third carries two columns of arithmetic tied to a summary profile of battlements (crenellation).

Isolated parts of the geared lever
The individual members of the toothed lever from the previous folio are drawn separately: a spur pinion, a T-shaped rack riding between guides, and a crank-driven screw. A cryptic working note (label a; a) tells the maker to have a part brought and finished by his own hand.
Recipe for smothering the charcoal fire
A note marked 'this is good' advises smothering the coals with cloth-shearing dust instead of water, adding a small crock and aqua vitae so the mass will not freeze. Every crack and vent-hole is to be stopped up so that the coals are quenched.
Mould for casting hand-gun shot
A boxed apparatus with two accompanying details is captioned as equipment for making moulds for the balls (shot) of scoppietti, small hand-guns. The framed diagram shows the closed two-part form used to cast the projectiles.
Columns of figures for a battlement profile
Two parallel columns of multiplication run down the lower sheet, tied by the transcription to a summary profile of crenellation. The values are set out as successive products (for example 12 and 18 over 6, building to totals in the thousands).
