Bird-Flight Studies: Wing Diagrams and Notes

This leaf is covered in Leonardo's mirror-script notes, which are not transcribed in this bundle, and further untranscribed text is present. At the right are two ink diagrams: an upper sketch of a bird with outstretched wings and a lower angular figure of a bird in gliding flight traced with ruled lines. Consistent with the surrounding folios of Manuscript E, the leaf concerns the flight of birds.
