A support bending under 4000, and a window from Cesena
Bracket studies with the load 4000, a window frame a, b, and a plan of water and road
The sheet mixes mechanics and building detail. Bracket-like supports carrying the weight 4000 are drawn and analysed: the support bends inward because as it descends the motion is greater at n than at m, so the line n p is more compressed than the line m q; a companion figure repeats the 4000 load. In the lower right corner a window from Cesena is drawn with its frame a for the oiled-cloth pane and b for the wooden shutter, its chamfer cut to a quarter circle. Turned ninety degrees, faint lines also give a plan labelled water and road.

A support bending inward under a weight of 4000
A bracket loaded with 4000 will bend inward, because the more it descends the greater the motion becomes at n than at m; consequently the line n p is more compressed than the line m q. A second, analogous figure again carries the load 4000.
Window from Cesena: frame a, wooden shutter b
In the lower right corner a window from Cesena is detailed: a is the frame of the oiled-cloth pane (impannata), b is the wooden window, and the chamfer of the reveal is cut as a quarter circle.
Plan with water and road
With the sheet turned ninety degrees, faint ruled lines form a plan whose labels name water and road. It records the layout of a channel and its adjacent way.
