Effaced Drawing on a Mounted Fragment

A small, irregular paper fragment mounted at the centre of a larger sheet, bearing a drawing so rubbed and abraded that its subject can no longer be made out with confidence. Faint brown traces of curving forms survive across the fragment but do not resolve into a legible motif. A pencilled inventory number appears at the lower right of the mount.
