Toothed wheels, gears, drums and screw elements crowded on one page
A crowded working sheet covers the page with rapid pen sketches of mechanisms. Several disc-shaped wheels ringed with teeth are shown in perspective on vertical shafts, alongside cylindrical drums, a large wheel with a square-holed hub, and screw-like and framed elements. No transcription accompanies the sheet, which carries a number at the top and an inventory mark at the lower right.

Toothed wheels in perspective on shafts
Several flat discs are ringed with radiating teeth and mounted on upright spindles, drawn as if seen from slightly above so the toothed rims read as ellipses. They appear to be crown or contrate wheels meant to mesh with one another.
Large wheel with square-holed hub
At the lower left a broad wheel is set within an upright frame, its centre pierced by a square opening for a shaft; a smaller solid wheel sits just below it. The arrangement suggests a wheel keyed onto an axle within a supporting structure.
Drums and screw members for transmitting motion
Cylindrical drums, threaded screw-like shafts and short toothed bars are sketched between the wheels. Together they read as parts of a gear train for passing motion from one member to the next.
