Two Grotesque Heads in Profile
Caricatured profiles: a long-haired man and an entangled pair of figures
The sheet presents two mounted grotesque-head studies side by side, drawn in fine pen line. At left is a man in right profile with lank straight hair, a jutting hooked nose, protruding lower lip and sagging chin. At right is a more crowded group in which a woman with an elaborate coiled and braided coiffure is set against a man's exaggerated profile with a heavy brow and thick lips. No text accompanies the drawings.

Grotesque profile of a long-haired man
A bald-browed man is shown in strict right profile, his long straight hair falling past the shoulder. The features are pushed to caricature: a large hooked nose, protruding lips, deep folds around the mouth and a receding chin, all rendered in delicate hatched pen line.
Entangled pair of grotesque heads
At right two heads overlap: a woman in profile with hair dressed in tight coils and braids is set before a man's strongly caricatured profile with a heavy jaw and thick lips. The bare neck and shoulder are lightly sketched below.
