Domed buildings in rapid perspective
A cluster of domed and vaulted structures is drawn in quick pen, including rounded cupolas and an arched opening. Ruled lines lay out the walls and roofs. The buildings are studied together as a small architectural group.
Coffered half-dome or apse
One structure shows a large half-dome whose inner surface is ruled into a grid of coffers or ribs. It reads as the interior of an apse or cupola seen from below. The vault dominates one end of the drawing.
Columns of figures and fractions
Alongside the sketches run columns of numbers written with fractions such as halves and quarters. They appear to record measurements or proportional calculations tied to the structures. The figures are set out in stacked rows.
