Drawn in black and red chalk, the sheet lays out a Last Supper: a central seated figure spreads his hands over a long draped table, flanked to left and right by rows of companions who lean and gesture toward him. Behind them an arched, columned hall recedes in perspective, its bays lightly indicated. The horizontal table and floor lines establish the depth of the scene. An old inventory number and collector's marks appear along the lower edge, untranscribed writing the bundle does not include.

A central figure sits with arms opened over the table while grouped companions press in on either side, some turning to one another in animated exchange. The figures are blocked in with black chalk and touches of red that pick out drapery and flesh.
Perspective of the supper hall
Behind the figures an arched and columned hall recedes toward the center, and the long table with its floor lines carries the eye into depth. The architecture frames the narrative and fixes its one-point perspective.
