Muscles of the leg
The right-hand figure traces the muscles of the whole lower limb, from the hip and thigh through the knee to the calf and foot. The long muscle bellies and tendons are modelled with close hatching that conveys their relief.
Neck and shoulder muscles beneath a profile head
The profile head at the lower left is drawn with the skin removed over the neck and shoulder, exposing the muscles that run from the jaw and skull down to the collarbone and arm. Above it a separate study concentrates on the shoulder and upper arm.
