Center of gravity of a beam hung by two cords
Two cords, converging or diverging, descend to a beam set at any obliquity and join it at any point of its length, with the beam's center placed between them. Leonardo states that the beam's center of gravity always lies on the line connecting the two centers of suspension.
Weight raised by a pulley at varying obliquity
A pulley lifts a weight shown at several oblique positions against a counterweight, the stations lettered a, b, c, d, e, f. The note records that f e are equal, f a are unequal, and that f a are always diminishing.
A body weighs less in more oblique motion
Alongside circles and arcs lettered a, b, c, d, Leonardo argues that a heavy body weighs less in its motion the more oblique that motion is, and that the circle whose circumference is more oblique is the one with the greater diameter.
A list of personal belongings
The left column is a memorandum of everyday items: a comb, towel, shirt, socks, pen-case, books, spectacles, a night-cap, drawing charcoals, three quires of rag paper, a knife, writing sheets and charcoals. It also notes 'Salai's ducat'.
The seasons of the moon
A brief note claims that the moon has a winter and a summer every month, with greater colds and greater heats, and that its equinoxes are colder than ours.
