Statics of beams and cords, with machine sketches
Balances, beams and force values, with a small accounting note
With the sheet turned on its left side, Leonardo works through several statics problems: a balance and beams — horizontal, vertical and variously inclined — held by cords set at different angles, each annotated with force or weight values (2, 4, 10-10, 4-4). Around them the margins carry small mechanical studies, including jib-like cranes, winches, spoked reels and a bellows-form device, while a large zig-zag folded form dominates the centre. A brief accounting note (ren 161; 8½ scudi; 11 denari) sits at upper right. Further faint, untranscribed sketches and jottings are present across the sheet.

Beams held by angled cords, with force values
A horizontal beam is suspended by cords set at various angles, labelled 10-10; related figures show a weight hung on a cord (10, 10-10) and a vertical or inclined beam marked 4-4. A balance scheme carries the values 2 and 4. The numbers record the load or tension carried in each arrangement.
Marginal mechanical sketches
The margins are filled with small studies of hoisting and driving machinery — jib-like cranes, winches, spoked reels and a bellows-form device — drawn faintly around the central statics diagrams.
Accounting note
A brief financial memorandum at the upper right records the entry 'ren 161' together with 8½ scudi and 11 denari.
