A face recorded by e-Leo as blank, yet bearing a mechanical study and a narrow second fragment
e-Leo records the two fragments of this face (a and b) as invisible before restoration and devoid of writing and drawings, but the sheet visibly bears a mechanical study. A heavy horizontal cylinder or drum is carried on a four-legged trestle, gathering a toothed wheel, ring-collars and a projecting shaft at one end. A narrow strip at the right preserves a separate fragment showing a tall upright frame enclosing a vertical device; no transcription accompanies these drawings.

Drum machine on a trestle stand
A long horizontal cylinder or barrel is mounted on a stout four-legged trestle. At its near end are a toothed wheel, ring-collars and a crank-like shaft, suggesting the drum is meant to be turned about its axis. The body is worked up with fine parallel hatching.
Narrow upright device (second fragment)
A tall, narrow strip at the right preserves a separate fragment. It shows an upright rectangular frame enclosing a vertical shaft or screw with cross-members, drawn faintly and without caption.
