Harquebuses and muskets, a multi-barrel wheel, a sling, and a double jack lifting 1000 pounds
A dense military-engineering sheet worked in pen over faint underdrawing. Along the top run several harquebuses and muskets, captioned as a shaft-mounted harquebus, a harquebus for aimed shooting and an aiming musket; at the left a disc-shaped little wheel is noted as holding eight small guns, and a whip-sling is given with its lengths in braccia. Harquebuses and aiming muskets
The top of the sheet shows several long firearms. The captions name a shaft-mounted harquebus whose overall length is 1 and 1/4 braccia, a harquebus for aimed shooting, and a musket for aiming.
Wheel holding eight small guns
At the left a disc or wheel is drawn with barrels set around it. The note calls it a little wheel that has within it eight small muskets, an early multi-barrel gun.
Whip-sling (cacciafrusto)
A sling device is measured out from the centre toward the right, given as 1 and 2/3 braccia, with a whip-sling (cacciafrusto) of 3 braccia.
Double jack lifting 1000 pounds
The large A-frame in the centre is a lifting jack with a hanging weight marked 1000. The caption describes it as a double jack that lifts 1000 pounds and any great weight.
