Spiked bundled devices, a folding lattice and a plummet
Radiating spiked members, an expandable scissor lattice, and a small suspended weight
The sheet carries several clusters of long straight members radiating from central hubs, many set with short spikes or teeth, together with an expandable scissor-lattice of crossed bars with squared joints near the foot. A small looped form with a hanging element near the centre reads as a suspended plummet, the feature the Ambrosiana tags as showing the direction of gravity. The transcription records no writing on the leaf ('devoid of writings'), while faint script along the top edge appears to be show-through from the letter drafted on the verso.

Clusters of spiked, radiating members
Several groups of long straight members spring from central boxes or hubs, many carrying short perpendicular spikes or teeth. They appear to be spiked devices, drawn from more than one angle across the upper half of the sheet.
Expandable scissor lattice
Near the foot of the sheet crossed bars form an expandable scissor lattice, with small squared joints marking the pivots and end-points. Such a lattice opens and closes like folding lazy-tongs.
A small suspended plummet
Near the centre a small looped form carries a hanging element, reading as a plummet on a cord. The Ambrosiana associates the leaf with the direction of suspended gravity.
