Two Flywheel Mechanisms with Shaft, Roller and Toothed Rack
Untranscribed studies of impetus-storing wheels on the verso
This verso carries two carefully shaded mechanical studies whose surrounding notes are not included in the transcription. The upper assembly shows a horizontal shaft bearing a broad flywheel disc and a smaller drum, held in a rectangular frame. The lower one shows a similar shaft with a large cylindrical roller and a long toothed rack running to a small spoked wheel at the right, and further untranscribed text is present around both drawings.
