Faint studies of turbulent water and frame structures
Lightly drawn breaking-wave and current forms with skeletal lattice frames; untranscribed notes at right
No transcription accompanies this very lightly drawn sheet. The lower half is filled with large scrolling, curling forms and streaked flowing lines that read as turbulent water, breaking waves and current, while a slender triangular sail-like form rises at the centre. The upper part carries faint skeletal frame or lattice structures and graduated horizontal lines. Faint mirror-writing, not supplied in this bundle, is also present at the right and remains untranscribed.

Curling, breaking-wave and current forms
Across the lower half of the sheet Leonardo draws large curling scrolls, foaming crests and long streaked lines suggestive of turbulent water and moving current. The forms build and break in the manner of his water and wave studies. No text is supplied to caption them.
Faint skeletal frame structures
The upper region shows two lightly sketched rectangular frame or lattice structures with legs, alongside faint graduated horizontal lines. Their function is not identified in any accompanying note. They are drawn far more faintly than the water forms below.
