Judged blank before restoration, this side carries no legible writing or drawing of its own; what shows is the faint, mirror-image offset of the gun and carriage studies on the recto. The Ambrosiana catalogue associates the sheet with questions of the incompressibility and pressure of water, the walls of different cisterns, and the speed of water whether enclosed or in the open.
